Colin Lea I am a postdoctoral research scientist at Oculus Research working towards immersive Social VR. In late 2016, I defended my PhD in Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University where I developed multi-modal models for fine-grained action segmentation with my primary avisor Greg Hager and co-advisors Rene Vidal and Austin Reiter. During my tenure at Hopkins I worked on applications in surgery, ICUs/healthcare, industrial manufacturing, and beyond.
